I started as a web developer in 2017, building sites and small systems for businesses in Delhi. Within a couple of years I was working on much bigger things: a HIPAA-compliant patient records platform for US hospitals, then multi-tenant business software for clients in Australia. That’s where I learned the part of this job that matters most — software is only useful if the people running the business actually use it.
These days I work directly with owners and managers of small and mid-sized businesses. Most of them come to me with the same problem: bookings in WhatsApp and notebooks, orders in spreadsheets, staff doing by hand what a system should do. We map the workflow on one call, I write a scope you can read, and I build it in weekly milestones so you see it working as it grows.
AI is a big part of how I build now — not as a buzzword, but as the thing that lets a small business answer customers at 2 a.m., pull an answer from a thousand documents, or turn a messy process into a clean one. I write about what I learn doing this in Insights.
